How much does building site camera hire cost in Melbourne?

Site Vision Cam hire is $869 including GST for 3 months or $1,639 including GST for 6 months ($790 or $1,490 + GST) for one solar-powered 4G camera. Minimum hire is 3 months, with a one-off $275 including GST ($250 + GST) installation and removal charge per camera. Extra days are $11 per day, and a second dual dome camera on the same pole adds $22 per week. For large or open sites the Site Vision Trailer Cam is from $3,289 including GST for 3 months. Each Site Vision Cam is a branded steel pole with a 4K PTZ camera, solar panel and battery, 4G controller, siren and warning light, so it works from slab to handover with no mains power or Wi-Fi. You watch live and get alerts on your phone, and we move or collect the camera when your site changes. What if there's no power on site yet?

That's fine. The Site Vision Cam runs on its own solar panel and battery and connects over 4G, so it can go up on day one, even on a bare block with no power.

Can it see in the dark?

Yes. The camera has night vision, and the battery keeps it running overnight and through cloudy days.

Can my supervisor see the camera too?

Yes. We can give access to anyone who needs to see the site, with live view and alerts on their own phone.

How many cameras does my site need?

It depends on the size and layout. A standard house build usually needs one or two Site Vision Cams. For large or open sites, compounds and civil works, a Site Vision Trailer Cam covers more ground from a 7 m mast. Tell us about the site and we'll recommend what's needed.

What happens when the site layout changes?

We move the camera for you. We reposition it as stages change and collect it when you're done.

How much does a Site Vision Cam cost to hire?

Minimum hire is 3 months. It’s $869 for 3 months or $1,639 for 6 months, both including GST, and longer builds get a custom project rate. Longer projects get a custom rate. Installation and removal are charged separately, at $275 including GST per camera.
