Our Site Vision Cam covers most house builds. The Trailer Cam is for sites that are bigger, more open or change shape every week, where you need height, more cameras and nothing dug into the ground.

What if the site has no power or internet?
No problem. The Trailer Cam runs on its own solar panels and battery bank and connects over 4G, so it works from day one on a bare site.
Should I hire a Trailer Cam or a pole camera?
A Site Vision Cam on a pole suits most house builds. Choose the Trailer Cam for larger or open sites, compounds and civil works, or anywhere you can’t fix a pole and need more height and more cameras.
Will it keep running through a Melbourne winter?
Yes. The 19.2 kWh battery bank is sized to keep the cameras running through several days of heavy cloud, and the 1,520 W solar array recharges it on the next bright day. You’ll get an alert in the app if the battery runs low.
How much does CCTV trailer hire cost in Melbourne?
Minimum hire is 3 months. It’s $3,289 for 3 months or $5,929 for 6 months, both including GST, and longer jobs get a custom project rate. Installation and removal (delivery, setup and collection) is charged separately at $429 including GST across Melbourne.
Who sets it up and moves it?
We do. Our team delivers, levels and sets up the trailer, sets up the app on your phone, moves it as your site changes and collects it at the end. You never need to tow or handle it.
Can my supervisor and client see the cameras?
Yes. We can give access to anyone who needs it, each with live view and alerts on their own phone.
What stops someone stealing or damaging it?
The cameras and control box sit 7 metres up, out of reach. The battery and power cabinets are locked steel, and the cameras record anyone who comes near the trailer.
Is site surveillance legal?
Video surveillance of your own construction or commercial site is generally permitted in Victoria. The Trailer Cam records video only, with audio recording turned off. Every trailer carries CCTV warning signs, and we aim the cameras at your site, not into neighbouring homes or private areas. See our privacy policy.
Is it safe near power lines?
Before raising the mast, our team checks for overhead power lines and keeps the trailer out of No Go Zones. If your site has power lines nearby, tell us when you book so we can plan the best spot.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Melbourne, including Casey, Cardinia, Dandenong and the south-east growth areas. Regional Victoria on request.
